All Stars
Melton All Stars started up in 2005 when one of the girls, who at
the time played for the under 7s, asked if her little brother could
join in. We said yes and within a couple of weeks we had about 10
boys ranging from ages 3 to 5 coming along to the training sessions.
So we decided to start up our own boys tots team.
From this beginning we now have 3 teams:
- Under 8s who are in their first proper league and loving it.
- Under 7s who are in a friendly league and are learning more and more with each match that they play.
- The Tots who are still a little too young to have big matches but will soon be starting to play some mini games.
Team Information:
The Under 8s are managed and coached by Scott Cartwright, Lucy Stevenson and Duncan Shelley. Summer training is on Tuesdays between 5 and 6pm on the Brownlow playing fields at Dee Close. Winter training is on Tuesdays between 7 and 8pm at the King Edward Upper school old sports hall.
The Under 7s are managed and coached by John Skelton and Steve Moore. Summer training is on Tuesdays between 5 and 6pm on the Brownlow playing fields at Dee Close. Winter training is on Tuesdays between 5:15 and 6pm at the Asfordby Amateurs sports hall.
The Tots are managed and coached by Lucy Stevenson and Jade Poyzer. Summer training is on Tuesdays between 5 and 6pm on the Brownlow playing fields at Dee Close. Winter training is on Tuesdays between 5 and 6pm at the King Edward Upper school old sports hall.
